Tough Creek
Shoshoni, Wyoming - August 2004
If a train could strut as proud as a peacock,
this would be the one, with its array of color
made all the more prominent by the barren high
desert of Central Wyoming. Climbing up and out
of the Wind River Basin, the mixed freighter
crosses over Tough Creek, which meanders
out of the distant Bridger Mountains.
